Pearl pigments from the Jacquard Pearl Ex family are made from powdered mica – they are safe and non-toxic. They are characterized by excellent lightfastness, stability and color fastness.

Pearl Ex’s excellent quality pearlescent pigments give any surface a beautiful metallic or pearlescent effect.
The pigments can be used with any painting medium – they can be used with resins, acrylic paints, oil paints, printing inaks, ?add to ink, alcohol inks, glue, clay, varnish and mix with other media.

The pigments are made up of different particle sizes, thanks to which we can obtain various effects -? smooth transparent pearl sheen to opaque surfaces with metallic ?shine.

You can even get pearlescent inks! Mix Pearl Ex pigment with gum Arabic powder and water, and you’ll have a metallic calligraphy ink!

Note that some colors may vary in weight depending on the pigment – 21gr or 14gr per bottle.

Their heat resistance allows them to be fired in an oven up to (316?C). They can also be used dry and then sealed. For indoor, outdoor use.
