What distinguishes the "No Seal" model resin forms?
The "No Seal" model eliminates the need for cleaning and sealing between pours, offering a hassle-free experience. Introduced silicon gasket cord prevents any leaks and makes form completely leak-proof.
What type of resin do you use?
We exclusively utilize FineR Resins (from laminating to 12cm deep castings). For our main body pours we use Finer MEDIUM or FineR DEEP epoxy resin and FineR Uni for pre-sealing our lumber.
What items are included in the box with the form?
Depending on type of form some sets may not include some parts like T-track system or clamp bars.
Eg. complete Resinum HDPE form 40x30cm box contains:
- one assembled Form with integrated T-track,
- Bubble levels (installed), and Leveling Feets
- HDPE Clamp Bars
- T-track Hardware (screws, threaded clamping knobs )
- HDPE Clamp Blocks
- Red silicone gasket (installed)
- Resin Form Instruction Manual.

Is it necessary to use a releasing agent with your forms?
We highly recommend using a releasing agent, such as Stoner or Honeywax, to ensure the longevity of your HDPE form. Please refrain from using spray release. Follow the application instructions provided by the manufacturers for optimal results.
Are the forms intended for producing finished products?
No, the forms are designed to create blanks rather than finished products, streamlining setup and reset for subsequent pours. This is kind of main step in producing resin items - then you need to finish it eg. sanding, polishing/oiling or lacquering.
How do minor manufacturing scuff marks affect the final piece?
Scuff marks, resulting from the HDPE material, transfer to the resin but can be easily planed or sanded away without impacting the final piece's quality.
What finish do you apply to your products?
We apply mainly Adler Lacquers - Legnopur and Pigmotop series with strong mat (G5) to complete gloss (G100). We also use Adler Legno ol oil products to our wood+resin.
What material are the forms made of, and how should they be maintained?
The forms are constructed from 20mm / 3/4 inch thick High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and should be maintained with a high-grade releasing agent such as Honeywax or Stoner. Use of a spray release is not recommended.
Are the forms preassembled upon arrival?
Yes, all forms are preassembled, excluding the clam bars.
How is the integrated T-track system utilized?
The T-slots allow attachment of clamp hardware for securing wood in place during pours, with HDPE clamp blocks ensuring resin does not stick to them.
What grit abrasive do you use for finishing?
For opaque pigments, we finish with P400-P500 grit. For 2-stage, 3-stage, or clear pours, we sand to P400 grit and apply a flood coat for the final finish.
What is the function of the integrated leveling system?
The leveling system comprises integrated leveling feet and two bubble levels, facilitating easy adjustment to ensure a level form surface.
What are the instructions for removing the blank from the form?
To remove the blank, simply remove one of the two short sides of the form, then use a wide chisel or putty knife to gently tap and release the blank from the form. If you feel it is still hard to remove the blank - remove another long side.
How is the form reset for the next pour?
After removing the blank, reattach the end cap(s), ensure the gasket is clean, apply releasing agent, and the form is ready for the next pour.
Can the form withstand frequent use without deterioration?
Yes, constructed from durable HDPE material, the form ensures longevity when properly maintained and used with a high-quality releasing agent. Also be careful while removing cured blanks as resin or chisel or putty knife can make scratches to the flat surface. Using wooden chisel will prevent from damaging the form.
Do you offer international shipping?
Absolutely! We are delighted to ship our forms to international destinations. For more details on international shipping, please refer to our Shipping page. International shipping cost is also calculated at checkout.
Are the forms compatible with a variety of resin types?
Yes, the forms are suitable for use with various resin types, including FineR Resins, Epodex, Dipon, Super Clear Liquid Glass Epoxy Resin, Super Clear Table Top Epoxy Resin etc.
Do the forms come with built-in leveling mechanisms?
Yes, the integrated leveling system includes leveling feet and bubble levels for easy adjustment and alignment during use.
Can the forms be easily transported and stored?
Yes, the forms are designed for hassle-free assembly and disassembly, making them convenient for transport and storage.
How do I ensure proper adhesion between the resin and the form?
It is recommended to apply a coat of high-grade releasing agent such as Honeywax or Stoner before each use to ensure proper adhesion and easy release of the resin.
Can I use the forms for other casting materials besides resin?
While primarily designed for resin casting, the forms may also be suitable for use with other casting materials, depending on their compatibility with HDPE. To be sure other material will not react with HDPE please ask material supplier.
Are replacement parts available for the forms?
Yes, replacement parts such as clamp bars and hardware are available for purchase to ensure the longevity of the forms.
How can I prevent over-pouring and resin leakage during use?
Utilize the integrated T-track system and included clamp hardware to securely hold the wood in place, reducing the risk of over-pouring and resin leakage.
Do you provide custom sizing options?
Currently, we do not offer custom sizes. However, we are continuously collaborating with artisans in the community to introduce new sizes that cater to various needs in our markets. We can think about custom sizes if it is about large number of forms.
What is the maximum depth for pouring resin into the mold? Do I need to fill the entire mold?
The depth of our molds and forms varies. For HDPE forms general rule is that you should leave a slight space at top. It's not recommended to fill them to the brim. Leaving at least 0,5cm of space on the sides facilitates the demolding process for HDPE (plastic) molds.
My resin is partially set and stuck to the mold. How can I remove it?
Solving this issue can be a challenge. To remove the adhered resin from the HDPE material, it can be gently heated with an electric heat gun. Do not use gas heaters with live flames, as this can damage mold components. After heating the resin, it can be separated with a wooden scraper - do not use sharp tools.
What's the most effective method for securing wood in the molds?
The recommended approach involves using a combination of scrap HDPE blocks, or our HDPE block kit, along with hand weights, kettlebells, or clamps. By positioning the HDPE block between your wood and the weight or clamp, you prevent any resin overflow from adhering to the weights or clamps. After the resin has set, the HDPE blocks can be easily and cleanly detached from the resin.
